Besides the fact that i met the girls last saturday, Val and i were in ateneo this afternoon to panel for a defense for the Euro Business Research. It was fun being on the other side of the table this time but i have to say i miss those days! We met familiar friends-- sir tanny and ate kai--- as we toured the mighty walls of our alma mater. With hope in our hearts to see familiar people around us -- a classmate in philo, a seatmate in pe101, eye candies, a co volunteer in orsem or even a terror teacher you have to smile back at when you cross paths with--- we eventually felt so misplaced, yet felt that we knew the secrets of each corner of the ateneo.
The college breeze went by and we felt a little more at home. Staring at the benches that once filled with familiar whines and sighs especially that it was the week before finals, we had that familiar talk-- similar to what we had back in college at the SS and RSF benches it was just like college all over again. yet less of the books, the exams, the orgs, the teachers, and the friends.
Sigh, we can only look back, but never go back.
