customer: yung bailey's frozen frappe ba may bailey's talaga?
Anj: yes ma'am
Customer: pwede yung akin walang bailey's...
obviously this customer was looking for.... a mocha frappe.. drop the bailey's we have a frozen frappe!
B. on witty customer lines...
customer: may food for the god's ba kayo dito?
JL: wala po sir, pero devil's food cake meron po.
for some reason this customer gave us a 40 peso tip!
C. Staff meeting moments
Anj: so to run down the summer offerings that we have...... and the red iced tea/lover's iced tea
JL: so parang tokyo tokyo na tayo red iced tea.
Anj: oo nga eh we have to rebrand it nalang siguro
Meynard: eh yun naman yung popular name nun
Anj *thinking*: banawe's own iced tea, banawe's best iced tea
DJ *as usual, natutulala*: parati naman banawe eh, bloody ma. clara kaya?
D. on Spanish hot chocolate
customer: yung hot chocolate nyo ba has sugar na?
Anj: a little lang sir, it's a mix po of cocoa and cinnamon.
customer: ok i'l have that.
at service.
meynard: spanish hot chocolate sir...customer tastes it..
customer: this has sugar. bkt sabi nyo wala? pahingi nga ng equal....
*reminded me of khemer's incident with a customer asking about what a chococcino is..
customer: ahnoh yungh tshokotsino?
khemer: spahnis hat tsokolate sir, na may gah-tas
E. Mocha What?
customer: isang mocha surprise
JL: sir, baka po mocha express?
taking shifts.. closing and then openign at that is tiring but these incidents will really make your shift worth while.
yep, the past week i took full shifts at the shop. head hurt, body hurts, no proper sleeping time and all. but its all good :)
