For over a month now, i have been immersed greatly with the cafe operations. I used to go to the shop for daily turnovers and do work largely at home. This time, i swore to stop bringing home work. And that meant that more time at the shop and really creating that office space at that tiny old stock room. To my surprise, i have a fully functioning office there (laptop on tow with an hp all in one printer at that!). To add, i have my office assistant who has greatly decreased my clerical work of filing and filling out forms for purchasing and requisitions. Organizational changes as well are implemented--- supervisor trainee, team leaders/shift leaders, baristas, host/ dining receptionist.
i always thought that things will stay at status quo for the shop, but with these latest developments, i am able to explore other options for my own career/ business development as well as the career development of my staff.:)
so, welcome to chapter three of tcb-b!

To share, my latest latte art! the negative!!
Its usually the mlk foam that would create the leaves, this time, for some odd pouring i did-- it was the espresso's creama that made it.
(i am pretty sure that my customer didn't notice the design or its uniqueness (as a free pour art and the whole negative version of the usual:))
