Eight years ago, i believe would have been the worst birthday for me. I believe, some people would agree with me, especially those who were part of it and is reading this (hi jemma!). Though, that experience taught me so much. made me wish for so many other things that only i could understand. i wished for more friends, i wished for an identity, i wished for so many other things, which my 15th birthday never gave me. i can't believe that it took 8 years to make me realize that my 15th birthday would make me appreciate all the friends that i have and had. That it was that birthday that was a turning point to realize who i want to be and who i should be. It was that birthday that made me realize that no matter how hard your try to be a friend to some people, it is only thru mutal communication and honest to goodness interests that makes friends.
Though i know birthdays are meant to be special. However, i always found myself looking not how special my day was but how special the year that was for me.
Looking back from where i am standing now, from that "the limelight will never be mine" party of last year, the 21st year of mylife hsa given me so many reasons to feel so much special-- my first pathetic "heart break" (dont we have all that anya?), the experience fo college senior, graduation good byes, scnadalizing stints, friends marathons, travels, trivials, events and more events, first job, resignation, a business, a family business, what more can i ask for? perhaps a love life?
last night, scandalizing sister texted me how she misses to be a student as she wondered sitting at SBC and having all these students studying, or... pretending to be studying. I told her i was having some kind of birthday self-pity-- rereading "no boyfriend since birth" book, so sad that i'm growing older or growing up, life directions and all that crap... but at the stroke of midnight, when i was about to eat my one and only cherry cheese cake that i was "obliged" to buy, my sister kept me at the employer's lounge of TCB. though i knew that there was somehting was brewing beyond coffee when she locked me in, i never expected that the gang will be there.. yes, anya, jig, barbie adn frey were there! with cake (na may icing!) and flowers and of coruse the ever best letter of all times. opps and not to forget the fortune cookie that almost made me fall from my seat.
guys, thanks so much. i never felt so special in my life in all birthdays. my debut never gave me that feeling. i felt so loved. thank you so much!

i heard that kai, anton, nice, pj, enzo, uncle fester were suppose to be part of the surprise but it was all ok! i saw kai, anton nice and pj anyway for the small short dinner that got me almost drunk.. having hte wine do the talking most of the time. Also, i'd liek to thank the lord for not letting them have the calling card of chuck/da moves. because i will only die if i knew that he was there and my friends ploting everything. hahahaha. that would be funny though. wahahaha..

btw, the small short dinner made me realize that we made coffee beanery, central perk for a time. hahaha.. barbie has to be phoebe. no kid! hahahaha... the best ka talaga barbie!!! only you can pull that off!
