Everyone knows that i have resigned from this first job for varioous personal and professional reasons.
Everyone knows how i meet deadlines for reports (at the expense of my sleep) making it easy for people to understand the easiest way possible at the risk of actually spoonfeeding them... no, not just a spoon but with a fork as well.
But, not everyone knows that i learned something from my first job, and that i regret spoonfeeding and forkfeeiding when it comes to reports i submit.
I opened the store today since i took the sunday away from the shop to be able to hear mass at the Gesu, eat proper lunch and finalize pedning reports i have to submitt before any deadline comes. Since the SOPs of opening were done, i went up tothe second floor to try to sleep more (even if i overslept already). Between dreamland, reality, and reliving the short lived small bday celebration (both midnights), my phone rang for a text message -- i was presuming that it was my daily horoscope or any friends willing to spend a peso for a good morning message. Apparently, it was a little bit of both. There was a AM greeting yet backed bt a messaged that predicted most of the day i was going to have. Yes, another pipeline of bad news.... to anyone readings this and has a copy of Manila Standard Today you'll know what I am saying.

My analysis on the first sentence of this freaking release is a two pronged one.
1. I ONLY have 2 siblings---Alexie and Acky. I am more than happy to have two lovely siblings who is ever so cute and dynamic as me(hahahaha), thank you. AND our last name is FERRERIA.
2. My pop's name is Alejandrino not Alejandro.
For a PR agency who fail to FYI your client of releales at the morning of the releaseing date is probalby a venial sin, i know that it is hard to media monitor.
For a PR agency to send these mistakes would be forgivable (as i said, as christians, we ought to forgive, but as humans, we ought NOT to forget)... it's not jsut the releasing problem nor the wrong infromation--it's the whole freaking article.
As my entry titel goes-- I am not grammar police AND i'm not syntax police either! But i do know how to spot the difference between a comma and a semi-collon and how these two are used.
A comma is used
1. for introductory words-- "Yes, I thinkI would liek some soup"
2. for participial phrase at the beginning of a sentence, a long adverbial clause at the beginning of a sentence and a succession of a prepositional phrase at the beginning of a sentence "Hoping to be rescued, they...." "When the sun rose, we were..." ..."Under the rug, we found..."
3. in dates, and adresses of more than one part, set off each part after the frist from the rest of the sentence. "I believe that East Liverpool, Ohio, is her home town."
4. before the conjuctionsthat joins two main clauses. "it snowed all night, and the schools were closed the next day"
5. a series of group of three of more items of the same kind. "Alexie, Acky and Angela are the only ferreria siblings"
Everyone kknows i tollerate a lof of mistaktes, but once i get annoyed my drastic steps are not tollereable to most -- resignation, forced resignation of certain team members, cobobohan escapades.....
then again, at the end of the day, good or bad publicity is still publicity.

so if you start with the editor's prerogative... i swear it will be my prerogative not to send out any release from you!1. placed between the main clauses of a compound sentence when tehy are not joined by a conjunction. "The Coffee Beanery is owned by the Ferrerias; Aris does not."
2. between main clauses joined by conjuctive adverbs or by phrases. "Our showcase was nearly empty; accordingly, we asked for emergency deliveries."
3. between series of phrases if they contain commas "Coffee Beanery Banawe family (from left standing): siblings Anj, Alexie,and Acky; Aris Galano, franchise manager.
And when you write this sentence:
"The Family now pursues a new venture which gives them more reason to spend time together: Opening a Coffee Beanery franchise."
1. "more" is compared to what?
2. colons are used before explanatory statements. "Then I knew we were in trouble: none of our boys could match the swan dive that was seen" in this case "
As a Coffee-loving family they are often seen at thier favorite coffee shop.
to all those wondering what our favorite coffee shop is... there are 2.
1. movenpick of Frankfurt, Germany
2. cafe tasse of Brussles, Belgium
