i had lunch with ate jess today! TOSH forever! hehehe it was nice chatting up with her again and catching up with the latest. of course chismis and everything will always be part of our dates. She came from china that's why i have a china souvineer! hehehe aftter that i went to jig's place to meet up with anyanita and go to orsem 2005.
It was different. Very different. As anya and i said, we were saying that we thought it would be the same. you know the whole feel of it--days of clipboards and bodybags, celphones, radios, attendance sheets, nametags (though i got another one for my collection! yey!)...But it wasn't. I had that mixed feeling of attachment and dettachment. It was a good feeling though, i think. I was seeing myself today (kunwari phenomenology to) as a freshman, as a volunteer, as a Secretariat committee core member and as Orsem head. and one question lingered in my mind. How can something so big be so small all of a sudden? if you read my previous posts especially of my first post i was saying "that i, anj, was going to run for orsem head.. orsem.. such a grand event in school. the most celebrated. the most magnificent... the event that gathers 3000 men and women. the event that nO other univeRsity doeS it the way wE do. adMu....."
But now it all seems so different. Probably looking it at a different perspective of "been there, been that.":P I met up with ann and my other orsem kids and friends who i left behind after i went down the hill. they are my friends for sure, the laughs we spent with each other on long days at the ops room wondering what to eat and issue about. but i guess it is just the perspective that i am looking at. I bet that next year they'll also have the same feeling. But one thing is for sure... that until now it is still indeed that nO other univeRsity doeS it the way wE do. adMu.

i also saw mic (MIC ANAKERS!!.. STA travels talaga!) today. as she said "we are the issue based ORSEM" hahaha totoo naman eh start palang issues were everywhere.. yawzah MINI ORCOM!:D to that wonderful tagaytay trip na si so innocent ronjo... who is super innocent still about the resentments, sentiments, involvments, misinvolvements of life in that faithful weekend.(and may i say the rest is history?)
