Bis Neachste mal Europa! Bis Naechste mal!2

From Belgium we were set to a Scandinavian tour. We took an SAS flight to Stockholm where we were to meet Tita tetchi, Anders and Adam—family-friend relatives who entertained us while we stayed in Nacka!

SAS flight! You can see the ice from up there!

We took a walking tour just the three of us (lex, acky and moi). We went to design museums. The Scandinavian area is known for their functional designs. (i.e. IKEA!).

by the river banks of Sweden. Ain’t it so pretty?

At the Riksdag (parliament)

Sweden is also the land of Sony Erikson and H&M. Although I would say that Sweden is a very expensive country.. I really can’t blame them. Having the Swedish model (welfare state) is reason enough for having such high prices.

After seeing Sweden. we took a cruise to Helsinki!

Viking Line! Where the beds are on the wall.

Helsinki was great. on the way we heard the ice on the Baltic sea cracking as the ship passed by. it was weird but it was amazing! The land of Nokia offered more of those scandic designs. we even got to see an old prison which is somehow similar with our very own corrigidor.

after a four day tour of scandinavia, we went back to belgium with a stop over at copenhagen... Sigh.. i only held denmark on my eyes... the land of Lego.

the last leg. the total EU experience. up next.
