Sorry for making this a three part thing. downloading the pictures are so tidious. that's why it's so few. hehehe katamaran ever. oh the life of the BUMpira...

And so after the scandinavian cruise/tour, all roads lead to belgium once again. We went to flee markets and got good bargains. shop at rue port de namur and hopefully avenue louise (or rue tulo-laway haha).

my pop and brother went home earlie than us for they wanted to check out germany again for the car cemetery. it is a place where in you bring your own tools and get parts oyou need of the broken cars there. hay-day for my pop!

as the boys went back to germany , we girls set off to Gent, Belgium! we went around and of course ate at Hema.. sigh i miss their rose tea! Yummy!! we took a boat tour amongst the rivers.

This next part has to be the culminating part of the trip! the trip to teh EU area.... took the tour at the eu parliament and it was so amazing!!!

so there. the trip's over and i am back home. remenising the 4 weeks of funfilled activities! in summary here are the top 10 things i learned through out the trip.

1. the Trans-European Networks is real but not understood.
2. Most european do not know who are the schengen states as well as euro zone members
3. Sweden is a utopia. Yet they do not know what they have.
4. even with a minor on a european language, most of the time you can only use it with Key talk.
5. The European Single Market is on its way to perfection. (but never compute to peso)
6. the Eu constitution might be imposible even with the transparancy of the EU publication. good thing they have their referendums.
7. The aging population is real.
8. Everything i learned in history 18.1 and 18.2 are real. (thanks sir lozada and sir tirol (pope benedict XVI!)
9. Some times i'd think why they set up the European Studies Program here in the Philippines.. to think that people, esp those who wokr at the EU area, doesnt know where the philippines is. (or perhaps, the ESP in Ateneo needs so much improvement!)
10. they need EU graduates to help them make EU contribute to the world's success because they know what the EU is. hint hint! give me a job!!!

So that's about it.
