Anyone who loves must know how to lose themselves and find themselves again.

The strongest love
is the love that can demonstrate its fragility.
- Eleven Minutes

I was left in denial learning he "forgot" or failed to wake up on the day i was going to celebrate my silver year. Anger enveloped me instantly like it was the worse day to wake up for me as well. I was celebrating my silver year and we had plans. Where was he?

Anger was talking with me. The four chambers of my heart was filled with angst, regret, hatred and possibly wrath. Irked, i made foolish decisions. With my head always above my heart, i knew he cannot get away with this with his charming smile, delightful gifts and dozens of flowers.

Silence crushed both of us for 4 days. I was hurt. I was REALLY hurt. Guy friends told me it's forgivable-- that it is normal for guys to "forget" dates, anniversaries, birthdays. Girl friends say i had all the right to nurse my hurting and face him only when i was ready (of course this is what i followed). It was as if we didnt have plans, but we did! we really did!

But after all that self pity and sulking, my hatred energy got me nowhere. Slowly, after laughs amongst friends, remembering the good things we had going, the energy transformed to forgiveness.

We talked, long and sincere. Realized how we forgot ourselves in the processes of building us.  Lastly, we knew that in love, it is always within us, we just awaken it. We just need another person to be able to do that.
