So there i was on the kitchen counter with all these vegetables in front of me and three shanks of lamb that i wouldnt even dare to touch. So i was just there watching pierre do his craft while i was fixing the table where we were to eat. As he was juggling demi glace sauce, onions, carrots, leeks, lamb shanks, rissoto, mint leaves, thyme and rosemaries, i was wondering what kind of dish is this that he was making that we even had to use the oven coz he needed to do some braising.. (ugh, can i just say cooking jargons?!?)
so what's the end product?

So the full menu was:
French Onion Soup
Freshly chopped onions simmered with chicken broth and white wine
topped with toasted french bread with emmental cheese
Braised Lamb Shanks with Mint Pesto Rissoto
Lamb Shanks braised in demi glace sauce
fussioned with carrots, onions, leeks and celery
served with mint pesto rissoto and tomato provencal

totally yummy!:P i made my tiramisu as well for dessert. kakahiya:) but it mixed well. to top it off, my parentals liked it too:)
If i'll be eating a whole lot of these, then fast food would really be a full treat this time.
