i live in a world where my parents taught me to follow my dreams, to do what i makes me happy, and live my life being grateful to them and not thinking we owe them anything. I guess it is just but right because, yes, we cannot choose our parents and it is some form of letting us realize that at some point in our lives we are to make own decisions and stand up for ourselves. Though the umbillical cord will still be there , granted that we are in a filipino setting, what is being fed through this stages from the basics of food to emotional strength and to learnings that directly affects our being.
i also live with philosophy sayings that find a vocation not a job.. find what you really want.. passion says it all... but how come in my reality today there are people who doenst even want a job.. but just wants the money?
sad to say that no matter how my parents brought me up and what philosophy has taught me, there are more people who live in the world where it's the money that makes their world go round.
