Basil Chicken and Cheddar Cheese

This is what happens when the Event Planner meets a Chef....

The Table was set with wine glasses and salad plates. It was just a small dinner party with friends. Pierre and I reigned the kitchen for 4 hours. This was a different night. Here are two unusual things that happened last night.
1. I was in the kitchen-- cooking.
2. There were more guys than girls in a dinner (5:4) which is really really unusual.. gone were the caf days that ONLY frey was the guy on the table.

It was a wonderful night with great friends reminincing about college days and planning for a long over due vacation. (what was there to do?.. ANTON CEBU please!) we were laughing at old teachers.. thinking of how odd people has become or how people were still the same.

Though they came late, we got serve dinner around 830 already. It was also fun having new people in the group!

So the guests were: Pj, Barbie, Nice, Anton, Anya, Venjo and Frey.. (plus pi of course!) we were just talking and talking the whole night...

So what was on the menu:

Starters
Toss Salad
A mix of iceberg lettuce with carrots and tomatos
topped with orange quarters, sharp cheddar cheese
and pan fried mustard chicken breast
balsamic vinegar to taste


Entree
Pesto Perfecto
Freshly chopped basil with garlic and almond shavings
Pan heated ala minute

Roasted Rosemary Chicken
Roasted chicken seasoned with paprika and Rosemary herb

Dessert
Chocolate Fondue
Fresh bananas dipped in melted creamy chocolate

Beverage
Asti
Orange-Lemon Honey flavored Iced tea
Dry white wine

inclusive of bread and butter

Php friendship and love/ head
minimum 10 guests

These are the things i learn from TCB-Banawe functions.

I'm just glad i had it at home and not in the shop... coz shop means work.. and home means relaxation.
