Baguio: the Pine City of the North
i took this photo at camp john hay baguio
When Christmas time is over and presents put away, don't be sad
There'll be so much to treasure about this Christmas day and the fun we've had
So may happy feelings to celebrate with you
And, oh, the good times hurry by so fast,
But even when it's over there's something you can do to make Christmas last
Keep Christmas with you
All through the year,
When Christmas is over,
You can keep it near.
Think of this Christmas day
When Christmas is far away.
Keep Christmas with you
All through the year,
When Christmas is over,
Save some Christmas cheer.
These precious moments,
Hold them very dear
And keep Christmas with you
All through the year.
Christmas means the spirit of giving
Peace and joy to you,
The goodness of loving,
The gladness of living;
These are Christmas too.
So, keep Christmas with you
All through the year,
When Christmas is over,
Save some Christmas cheer.
These precious moments,
Hold them very dear
And keep Christmas with you
All through the year.
There'll be so much to treasure about this Christmas day and the fun we've had

this is one of the christmas songs that i grew up with. it's from the sesame street chirstmas album. alot of memories came to mewhen i remembered this song on the way to baguio. indeed christmas may only come once a year but the memrories of my christmases since i was a kid will forever linger such as "Christmas 91! the guytingco way!... here's the season we have all be waiting for...." "pila!" "kinulob"... too bad we didnt have a guytingco christmas this year. everyone's all over the world... tita bonet in rome, tibong, lola, tito ricky and family in michigan, tilu and family in hk, tita nadine and family in seattle and on a cruise i believe at this very moment.
Baguio. i never thought i would fall in love with the beauty of baguio all at once. i've heard of great stroeis of baguio from my dear best friend jemma. who spent 2 year of college there. it is a quiet city atop a mountain with marks of american legacy here in the philippines. flashes of philippine foreign policy lessons on MBA and HI166 lessons came to me (woohoo go sir madrona!) even the kadiri gang's paper on burnham also was helpful in concretizing the sights and sounds that i experienced in the past days.
the past days in baguio will be memories of family travel.. with of course as mom would say "pop's tail end outburst" etc etc.. of course i'd like to thank SUN CELLULAR for keepnig me comapny.. haha thank you to Jemma, Jamie and David! hahaha ang kulit ko ba?! mwehehehe...
i'll be posting more of the photos when i get to upload them already. sorry it's the night i got home and i'm still woozzy with the long drive home.
the photo above is just one of the many pictures i took!:) you have to see my flower gallery!:D hehehe
keep posted!
