Thanks 2008!

two years ago i told to myself 2008 will be my year. I dont know what made me say that but i was banking on the fact that my sister got engaged in 2006, my brother settled in Hong Kong during the same year... and i was still working at the cafe. Though 2006 was not bad for me, nor did my 2007! In fact, those are the years of true self growth with self....

2008 was a year of self achievements.  Early during the year was my Portland experience of getting a coffee degree. At the end of the year i finally got sashed with a masteral degree as well.

2008 was a year of friends. Met new friends, kept the old. i just love having many small circles of friends.

2008 was a year of travel. of course my early travel to the states and then a trip to Hong Kong :) then a whole lot of domestic travels-- Batangas, Baguio, Palawan, Leyte, Cebu, Cagayan de Oro--- and then back to baguio again.

2008 was a year of learning love. accepting the was and wasn't-s, the is and isn'ts and learning to brace myself of the will bes and will not bes.

2008 was a year of forgiving and still loving.

2008 was a year of nostalgia. 

2008 was a year of spinning out... with business, with friends, with... self.

2008... was a year of contentment. 

Cheers to 2009! 

i have my mental list of to dos this coming year and i do hope that i will be able to reach them as how 208 unfolded to me.
