Life Crisis

I was chatting with a friend  and she said she was on "quarter life crisis". I was wondering then why do people come across this stage in their lives where you had to take crossroads to all the unknowns.

Out of sheer boredom, i wiki-ed it and got this definition "The Quarterlife Crisis (QLC)(note of the one word quarterlife and its abbreviation) is a term applied to the period of life immediately following the major changes of adolescence, usually ranging from the ages of 21-29." It even presented its characteristics of : feeling not good enough because one can't find a job that is at one's academic/ intellectual level; frustration with relationships, the working world, and finding a suitable job or career. Confusion of identity. Insecurity regarding the near future; insecurity concerning long term/ life goals plans; insecurity regarding present accomplishments; re-evaluation of closer interpersonal relationships; disappointment with one's job; nostalgia for university, college, high school or elementary school life; loss of closeness to high school and college friends; and a sense of everyone is, somehow, doing better than you.

So, are you in QLC?
